ZipAway
ZIP AWAY
(Caputatan Norte, Medellin, Cebu)
If you want a closer feels with nature then this place
is surely a must visit! This is a government owned eco-park which provides some
adrenaline rushing rides and activities for insanely super low fees.
We arrived there at around 3 P.M. from Kawit,
Medellin. It took us about 45 minutes to an hour from Kawit, and it was a
little bumpy ride the moment we turned to that corner street going there. The
view up there paid the price though as it was just scenic that I was lost for
words for a few ticks!
There were no other visitors when we arrived that for
a short while it was like the place was exclusive for us. We relaxed, took
photos, enjoyed the view and the fresh air of the province for a bit before
engaging into their offered activities.
The tarzan jump that I was rooting for, but ended up
not trying it (scaredy cat! Stop judging me okay?)
According to my friend's boyfriend who tried it, it
was really scary at first especially with scary thoughts popping in your head,
but the moment he was released and started swinging in the air it was scary no
more and was actually fun that he can do it again and again.
Zippy, zippy all the way!
It's a two way zip line that offers different levels
of fun and excitement. The first slide was so fast that you'll literally zip
away (at least that's how I felt), the second slide going back was a little
slower that it gives you more time to appreciate the view while hanging in
there.
The cable car :)
If you want to savor the view while hanging up there,
but in a much slower pace then this definitely is worth the ride. I don't know
about you, but personally I think this ride is romantic (hopeless romantic,
eh? Ppffftt! )
Sky biking is love...
Last but definitely not the least, their latest
addition to their rides. The Sky Bike! However, for now they have a weight
limit to those who wants to try this exciting ride (too bad! I know, I
know... Hurts my feelings too). But do not despair, I am sure they will be
developing this in no time – I mean (for the love of lechon cebu!), not
everyone is below 70 kilos right!?!
I have not been to the whole world and have not seen
all the best, but every time I visit a place it all boils down to one thing.
God made all these beauties to remind us all that with or without us HE will
still be GOD of all, but HE loves us so much to let us enjoy His creation.
Romans 1:20
For since the creation of the world
God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly
seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without
excuse.
