Sumilon Island
BLUE WATER RESORT - SUMILON ISLAND (Oslob, Cebu) As a year ender, we chose Sumilon Blue Water Resort – not too far from the City this time. It’s very easy to get there because of its accessibility. We catch an early bus ride at South Bus Terminal and got there in a span of three hours. We have a previous booking arranged prior our escapade, and we didn’t stay there overnight though as their overnight room rate is kinda expensive, so we opt for a Day Tour instead which I will go into detail of the inclusions later on. Their boat transfers from the mainland to the island are scheduled, and we were scheduled to sail at 8 A.M., so we took advantage of their complimentary drinks, relaxed and stretched a little bit – it was a 3 hour bus ride after all! Finally, it’s our turn to sail (yay!). The island isn’t that far from the mainland, and I would say that a very good swimmer can cross it in no time. It only took 10-15 minutes to get us there.
